We have an exciting opportunity for an
experienced Sales Account Managers in the Los Angeles, CA area.
Description:
We are seeking an aggressive and
independent Sales Account Manager for a senior-level sales position. The ideal
candidate must be an energetic self-starter and able to work in a fast paced
environment. This person must be outgoing, confident, and experienced in selling
to small and medium businesses and government agencies. The Account Manager is
responsible for the entire sales process from lead development to close of sale.
The successful candidates will have
information technology industry experience as well as a proven ability to
prioritize tasks and make informed decisions with emphasis on getting results.
The Sales Account Manager will be assigned named accounts within market in which
to sell the company's products. |
| Responsibilities: |
- New account development
- Identifying appropriate contacts within
target accounts
- Setting appointments to meet with
customer contacts
- Speaking with customers to qualify their
hardware and software needs and cover features/benefits of our products.
- Giving technical hardware and software
presentations and demonstrations.
- Generating sales quotes and proposals to
new customers.
- Working with client to set expectations
and ensure smooth sales process.
- Compile monthly list of opportunities.
This list includes a detailed analysis of number of potential end users, budget
and funding sources, a close date projection, and a joint working plan with the
customer.
- Maintaining a thorough knowledge of
current trends and technology within the industry.

- Bachelor's degree in related field.

- Experience meeting annual quota of over
$1 Million

- Effective negotiation, persuasion,
problem solving and analytical skills.
- People skills necessary to consult with
customers, identify specific requirements, present technical information in
easily understood terms, make recommendations to meet/exceed customer's needs
and close sales within a reasonable time period.
- Strong verbal communication skills,
telephone sales experience, excellent written communication & listening skills,
and customer service skills.
- Experience preparing complex sales
proposals and quotes using automated proposal systems.
- Strong financial modeling skills.
- Proficiency with MS Outlook, Excel &
Word
